Master of Science in Health Science


   Master of Science in Health Science

The Master of Science in Health Science is offered with two specializations:  Health Care Administration and Educator. The Master of Science in Health Sciences with a Health Care Administration specialization will prepare you to: administer, develop, and implement health education programs; understand current health issues; and master the skills and knowledge required for leadership in health education. Upon graduation, you may function as a health care administrator in a variety of settings, both public and private. The Master of Science in Health Sciences with a Health Education specialization will prepare you to: administer, develop, and implement health education programs; understand current health issues; and master the skills and knowledge required for leadership in health education. Upon graduation, you may function as a community-health educator in a variety of settings, both public and private. Students who successfully graduate from the MSHS in Health Education with the Educator specialization may be eligible to take the National Certification of Health Educators Exam (CHES).
